Boldo is an evergreen shrub found in the Andean regions of Chile and Peru and native to parts of Morocco.
Boldo was employed in Chilean and Peruvian folk medicine and recognized as an herbal remedy in several pharmacopeias, mainly for treating liver ailments.
Function:
1) Boldo Leaf Extract is a liver tonic.
2) Boldo Leaf Extract stimulates the production and excretion of bile from the gallbladder, treats liver diseases, and eases jaundice, hepatitis, gallstones, and chronic hepatic torpor.
3) Boldo Leaf Extract can treat urinary tract infections; and promote the excretion of uric acid.
