Notopterygium incisum is a species of flowering plant in the family Apiaceae, native from northeastern Tibet to central China. It is known as the notopterygium root. Its root and rhizome parts of the plant have long been used in traditional Chinese medicine, and the plant continues to be thoroughly studied to this day.
