What is Durian Powder

Durian Powder is an aromatic tropical fruit powder milled from fresh durian, ideal for bringing tropical notes to smoothies and other formulations. 1. Freeze-Dried Durian Powder Fresh durian flesh is frozen into a solid state (typically -30°C to -40°C). Moisture is subsequently removed via sublimation under vacuum, where ice converts directly into water vapor without transitioning into liquid water. 2. Spray-Dried Durian Powder Durian pulp is atomized into fine droplets using a high-pressure spray nozzle. Water is rapidly evaporated within hot air (generally 150°C–200°C) to form powder. This process enables fast drying, supports large-scale manufacturing and carries relatively lower production costs. Spray-Dried Durian Powder features high bulk density and excellent flowability.
